It is a constant reminder to us that GOD is a GOD of comfort and a surcease in time of trials and tribulations. And boy, are we buffetted about with the vagaries of today's society and the vicissitudes of life! We are so grateful that our LORD is a "covert from storm and from rain" - ISAIAH 4:6, of these perilous times and the waning days of this earth's existence. This hymn has been a favorite of my mother (who is 21 years deceased) and now is included in my "favorites" column.
