When I come to the Lord’s table, and it is HIS table, spread before us, ’ “I say Lord, thank you for this table! ”
There is incredible symbolism in this practice. We must realize any believer can partake of this table and enjoy Him in remembrance. It is by eating Him, taking in by faith, that we remember Him. It is that simple.
All Christians are in the body of Christ as symbolized by the bread, whether they know it or not. And I repeat: We must eat and drink of Him to live! We must take Him in by faith. It’s by eating Him (taking His Word by faith) that we live. We grow in oneness by eating Him.
The last 2 verses clearly show this is something we can enjoy daily. Eating of Christ’s riches is so enjoyable. Even a child can experience this. This has been my experience for over 50 years.
